Pro-lifers ———-Just Think, maybe 10.4% babies save per thousand births. I pray that you understand that the special bundle you are waiting for could be lost because of who controls the outcome. Folks you line up the streets to stop someone from getting and abortion and some of you ready to take a doctors life for his services. You’re willing to let the heath care system forget 10.4% per thousand births because of the party you belong to. That sounds like a lot of cute little ones to cry over and who cares. Holy Crystal Ball I thought you did. Maybe the Republican party can help you play in wonderland.They seem to have all the answers but NO signature skills. This is your calling and how you handle this is also your calling.

Mizpah is once again having a Walk-a-Thon around the Pond.

Event: Walk-a-Thon around the Pond

Location: Mizpah in Grand Isle, Maine

Date: August 30, 2009 (Sunday)

Time: Starts at 12 Noon up till Midnight.

Description: Annual event were people young & old gather at Mizpah in
Grand Isle, Maine to support and honor past and existing
Cancer Survivors.

Bring your own picnic lunch for super or eat from the Legionnaire Hot Dog Grill along with chip, cake, etc.

You participate by purchasing a five-dollar candle in memory of or in support of a loved one. The candle is placed in a white paper bag around Mizpah Pond. The highlight of the Walk-a-Thon will be at dusk when we light up all the candles that have been purchased by the people in attendance. What an amazing site to see when thousand of candles glow on the reflected pond. If you missed last years walk-a-thon make sure to attend this year. It is an atmosphere of beauty, calmness and tranquility. You will never forget this event and will cherish these moments forever.

Soldier email To His Mom and Dad July 6.2009

Hey,
I don’t know if you guys remember the last soldier to die on Saturday but I use to play baseball with him for years in Edmundston. His name was Charles Michaud, anyway real nice guy. He was a dam good baseball player.

American Vets

As you know, there is a new generation of “combat veterans” out there and somehow their voices must be heard. I can’t remember if I did but I thought that I’d extend an invitation to you and the American “Vets” to an “OPEN HOUSE” scheduled for the 22 Jul 09. With all your connections, I’m sure that you can find a way to get the information to the “Boyz” in Madawaska. Like the old fellows preceding us, we have to assemble as this is the only way that we can make a difference.

We can’t sit back and let what happened to the “Vietnam Vets” happen to the “Boyz” serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. They deserve to be acknowledged and recognized. If the Madawaska “Boyz” are up to a “ride” and they are capable of organizing a “motorcycle” escort, this would be a really nice touch. Let’s see if this possibility exists. Anyway, please gather and join us for this event.

On the agenda:

1600 hrs: Arrival of Canadian Veterans by motorcycle.
1700 hrs: Meet and Great/Gathering at “CIMENT HILL”
1800 hrs: Supper (cost $10.00 per person)

Menu: CHILLI CON CARNI and SALADS

1900 hrs: Evening celebrations complete with music and “Bomb fire”

Beer to be made available on site at additional costs, all revenues will be used for the upkeep and further expansion of “CIMENT HILL". Hope to see you there.
